Located in the village of Juillac Le Coq, at the very heart of the "Cognac" region, 

our delightful cottage is just a vine row's walk away from the river Charente, which shares its name with this remarkable area.

 Lovingly restored, with natural and environmentally friendly materials,

the cottage comfortably sleeps three persons,

and offers the perfect opportunity for both couples and families to take a refreshing short break or holiday, all year round.

  Like cognac itself, our project has taken time to reach maturity.

Our materials and furnishings have been carefully chosen to reflect our passion for the region : elegant and harmonious.
  
In fine weather, you can enjoy the gently rolling hills of the Charente countryside following various paths and trails, some of which pass our doorstep.
On cooler days, and as the nights draw in, we offer you the opportunity to discover

the Cognac experience and immerse yourselves in the French spirit : 

the vapours of the distillation process, the scents of our Cognac cellars and the tasting of our amber coloured "eaux de vie" (water of life), which is the base for our fine Cognacs.
  
Our cottage also provides the perfect location from which to enjoy

the beaches of the Atlantic coast (1 hour by car), the historic coastal town of

La Rochelle (1 hour 15) and the remarkable city of Bordeaux, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site (1 hour 30).

Breathe deeply, take your time, allow yourselves to be bathed in the Charente light and discover the alchemy of the region, or as we say in French 

"la part des anges"...
